One could easily imagine the Elliott Family crest framed in ribbons of adding machine tape. Chris, his three brothers, and his father are all accountants. More than that, however, he credits hard work, a willingness to learn, and the support of others for elevating him to his previous leadership role with one of Erie’s largest nonprofits. Chris worked at Barber National Institute for over 10 years with his latest role of Vice President of Behavioral Health. He now serves as Controller at Smith Provision Co., Inc.

 

Prior to his time at BNI, he spent 4 years in public accounting where he earned his CPA license. He graduated from Penn State Behrend with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is most proud of raising his young family, two sons and a daughter, with his wife and for being selected in Erie’s 40 under 40 class of 2020.
